After more than ten years of planning, the $38 million transformations of the only commercial airport in a region started in 2010. Prior to renovations, the Terminal was very chaotic and congested any time when two airlines landed at about the same time. Today the issue is resolved.
The renovations for the East, West, and Central Terminal are now complete. The Central Wisconsin Airport passenger terminal includes five airline gates. Different parts of Terminal include different facilities.
At the entrance of the East Terminal, travelers are welcome to find an arcade, a taxi counter, an information desk ready to assist anyone for the additional information, baggage claim area, and rental car desk.
Baggage check-in and ticketing desks can be found at the West part of the Terminal, while the Central one includes a gift shop, a lobby that leads to the security checkpoint, and on to the boarding gate.
